We have an e-mail list of over 200 fans. This is a list of people who want to know about every gig. Prior to every show we send this group a graphically enhanced e-mail that contains directions and links to the Web site. If your club wants, we can work together to create a promotion that will help bring our people in. For example, we can design a coupon in the e-mail that gives a 5% discount on their tab.
Our fan base starts with our friends. Of course this is to be expected. We have also grown quite a few members at our gigs. Many of our fans are successful professionals and usually eat and drink a lot. (Of course the food has to be good).
So far we have been averaging around thirty to forty of our own folks at every Broward county gig. This number is growing. One reason this works out is that we do not play so often. Blue House will only take about two gigs per month so each show is an event. We do not saturate our fan base.
We show up with our own fully contained Yamaha PA system. We just need some time to set up. Typically we will show up hours before a gig to get a good sound check.
